The drive is very transparent and pleasing to the ear. The overdrive is very classic rock, up to hard rock. You can go from tones of a slightly pushed tube amp to soaring full on over the top gain. If you want chime, a 7 or 10 band eq in the loop will give you any clean tone you want. The cleans are darker, nothing fender like about the clean channel. In a blind test many would think it to be a tube amp. The tone is very organic, nothing like any other solid state ive played though.
